It has been so long since my last post! We have had many, many things happen here in the Hibiscus House. My middle daughter celebrated her 14th birthday and on the very day she received her gift of a computer game that she had been waiting and waiting for the computer decided that it was time to go to computer heaven, so we are saving our pennies to see if we can get it fixed and then she can finally play her game! I have also been told that I have Reactive Arthritis, yay for me lol, which has been causing some pain and has put my bike riding days on hold until the weather is kinder to my poor old joints. It seems that it is just one thing after another with my health but hopefully soon and after another operation I shall be back to something kind of normal.
We seem to have been so busy the last few weeks but now that the kids have a couple of weeks holidays we may be able to slow down a little. I have been crocheting a baby blanket for a friend which I finally finished the border for and along with some baby hats I now have a neat little package ready to give to her tomorrow, I have taken some photos but the computer I am on at the moment does not seem to care for my photos so I will have to wait until we can get the good one up and running before I can post them. I have moved onto some knitting for a little bit with a pair of yoga socks on one set of DPN's and a beanie on another set. I am always amazed at the price that people are charged for beanies when I can knock one up in a few days with some stash wool and it is always made with care and love, much better than the mass produced $35.00 options available, it is also nice when my oldest daughter says that I can make much nicer ones than they have in the store!
